Join the Symposium (Funded Opportunity)
Undergraduate Travel Grants
We invite ambitious undergraduate students to apply for 5 exclusive travel grants to attend and deliver both an oral and a poster presentation at the SIT-AGH Symposium in Tokyo (13–15 July 2026). This is a fully funded opportunity to participate in an international academic event.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Must be an active AGH undergraduate student conducting ongoing research or possessing preliminary findings suitable for presentation at the Symposium.
- Willingness to actively participate in the Symposium.
- High proficiency in English.
- Commitment to enrol in the Energy and Environmental Engineering double degree master’s programme upon the completion of undergraduate studies.
Application Process
- Abstract: Submit a summary (up to two A4 pages) detailing your research project (e.g., engineering project), according to the Template.
- Academic Record: Provide a Transcript of Records issued by the Dean’s Office, including your current Grade Point Average (GPA) and a list of completed courses (in Polish or English).
- Curriculum Vitae: Provide a concise CV.
- Submission: Send your application via the Application Form (Microsoft Forms) by 26 April 2026.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated in a two-stage process.
Stage 1
Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference aim and scope.
- Scientific merit and advancement of the research.
- The quality of the submitted abstract.
- Academic record.
- Possession of a recognised English language certificate (considered an asset).
Stage 2
Students selected by the Evaluation Committee will be invited to present the results of their research during a mock oral session. The session will be held on 11 May 2026. Details of the oral session will be sent directly to the shortlisted applicants.
The final list of students qualified for the travel grant will be published on 12 May 2026.
